I know you’ve probably heard that when purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable but I want you to know that it’s more than just a nice quote – it’s true. Especially when dealing with the subject of money.
This is #PurposeWeek for me. I’ve decided to dedicate this week to reconnect with my why. As a member of Kingdom Business Classroom who desire to live a life of financial freedom, it’s important that you get clear on your why.
Why do you seek financial abundance?
On the surface, that might seem like an irrelevant question but it will go a long way to define what financial abundance mean to you – if you don’t know what it means, how do you know when you achieve it?
It will also help you keep your head clear and help you stay focused on your goal when the road gets rough – and it can get really rough.
Is financial freedom merely a revenge plan to deal with those who despised you when you were broke? Are you just trying to prove a point? What if the people you’re out to prove a point to all die before you’re financially free?
What exactly makes you want to be financially free?
Think about this for a moment.
If your motive is not correctly aligned, you might struggle for a long time.
What’s worse about having a wrong motive?
When the going gets tough you’ll be under severe torture and you could end up giving up on your goal and even if you don’t give up, you might find out that the pressure which comes from holding up is more tormenting – one of the major reasons seemingly successful people commit suicide.
So what’s your why?
Who are you doing this for?
If it’s just about you and nobody else, you’re thinking too small.
The ultimate “why” is bigger than just you and your immediate family.
I’ve been asking myself some why questions this week to enable me get clear on some of the demands of the transition that’s coming in Kingdom Business Classroom in a bid to better add value to you.
I’m committed to sharing these financial principles with you because I want you to excel in your finances without losing your soul – this is why I’m here!
Take out time to reflect and think upon why you’re doing this and for whom you’re doing this. Also take out time to identify the end product of your success – the ultimate outcome.
That’s it for today.
Remember your financial future is in your hands, take it seriously.
