When the economy is troubled; people lose jobs & hunger threatens many. This article will show you how to create wealth in troubled times.
There’s no ‘one size fits all’ approach to the subject of wealth creation, but the underlying principles remain the same.
Before I show you an approach that you can use to create wealth, let’s have a quick look at how wealth is created.
So how is wealth created anyway?
Solving problems for people.
The clothes you’re putting on right now were paid for, (either by you or by someone else) and in the process wealth flowed towards the people who made them.
They solved a problem for you – covered your nakedness and enhanced your physical appearance.
The only way to create wealth is to solve problems.
I’ve wrote about this extensively in a previous Facebook note and you can read it here – http://on.fb.me/1RxYWeg .
So how should you create wealth in times like this?
Deploy your gift.
You see, it is the gift of a man that makes space for him in the company of the great; there’s no other way around this.
God designed the universe in a way that makes it possible for anyone who so desires, to climb out of obscurity into limelight.
How did He do this?
He hid a treasure inside everyone of us – a gift, a talent, an ability – call it what you will. A treasure that cannot be accessed, without the consent (deliberately or ignorantly) of the vessel in which it is stored.
So whether in good times or bad times, the best approach to create wealth is to deploy your gifts to solve practical problems.
The bible teaches that any man who is diligent in HIS BUSINESS will stand before kings and not mean men. One major difference between mean men and kings is what they can afford to pay. 😉
What’s a business anyway?
A set up which pulls resources together to solve an identified problem. Simple.
I’ve often heard people say you can go ahead and start anything and you will succeed. I used to believe this too.
Another man’s business is not necessarily your business. What works for your neighbor might not work for you. You have to find YOUR business and be diligent in it.
For example, I’m not a worship leader. While someone else is enjoying the rehearsals and want us to continue, I’m looking forward to the closing prayer. (And don’t you think I’m lazy, they told me I’d do well by joining the music unit & I believed them!)
Here are four steps to create wealth from your gift?
- Discover it
- Refine it
- Deploy it
- Profit from it.
(where, it = your gift 😉 )
The four steps outlined above will help you to create wealth regardless of the state of the economy.
I heard an amazing teacher, Rev. Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Christian Center share this truth explicitly “The key to turning your spiritual cash into physical cash is to find the connection between your gifts and skills and people’s problems.”
Make no mistake, the four steps outlined above require a serious investment of time and a learning curve but its an infallible formula for anyone who desires to create wealth and have fun doing so!
I’m currently working on a Book which guides you through the four step formula outlined above and I have created a closed Facebook group through which you can get to see bits of the work and be notified when I’m done.
