This is the third article we’re taking in this series on “7 Kingdom Business Principles That Guarantees Business Success”. If you missed the first two articles, do well to read them up here (Part 1) and here (Part 2).
When I newly became awakened to the reality of the fact that I was responsible for my outcome in life, I encountered one major challenge; I wanted my breakthrough to come instantly.
I often forgot that “Rome wasn’t built in a day” and neither does anything of significance come to be in an instant.
I’d set unrealistic goals and become discouraged when I don’t get the outcome I had anticipated. I had bought into that myth called “overnight success”. I was oblivious to the Kingdom business principle, I’m about to share with you now – the principle of process.
Speed is different from rush.
While an opportunity could surface in a moment, the preparation for that requires a significant amount of time.
How does this kingdom principle apply to you?
Grow systematically from one level to the next. learning the needed lessons as you go along each growth stage.
Jesus Christ, the greatest businessman that walked this earth on sending out his salesmen gave them a systematic plan.
The plan required them to start from Jerusalem, Judea and eventually expand into the uttermost parts of the earth and his business is still thriving till date. (see Acts 1:8)
He properly understood the law of process, exemplified it and taught it well.
He knew well that growth in your finance and business is a process.
How many people have failed in business because they attempted to jump process?
Don’t open up several branches before understanding your market just because you have cash to spend.
Learn the ropes in building one successful branch and apply the lessons learnt there when the time comes to establish other branches.
Speed is different from rush.
The process will teach you faithfulness, help you better understand your customers’ needs and how best to meet them as well as enable you gain mastery of your craft.
Allow your business go through the stages that are required to be properly established. Follow through the process and it will happen.
The first eBook I wrote for sale got only enquirers and Facebook likes/comments. I got the idea…validated it…locked myself up to create the content.
I had seen experts write books that got sold out on the same day. (Michael Hyatt comes to mind) I thought I was going to just write great content and throw it out there and the people would rush in to buy it. (lol!)
I ended up giving it out for free.
I learnt my lesson – the hard way.
I’m still learning.
I know better now. 🙂
There’s a process to follow if you really desire to succeed in business and get to the place of financial abundance. Stay through the process.
